Starting from 1 May 2018, the second edition of RICS Property Measurement requires that the way to measure both the office space and the residential space complies with the regulations and that it must incorporate what was said by the International Property Measurement Standards: Residential Buildings, as well as the IPMS: Office Buildings published in November 2014.
This means that the Code of Measuring Practice, 6th Edition (COMP), is no longer the standard default for both of these types of properties.
